Rain
Rain Reviving green grasses and flowers too Life once again reborn anew, In summertime the rains do come Washing away the burning sun But more than with it does come People watching everyone, Soaking all who happen by As if rinsing off bad vibes. For rain often sadness brings lost loves lost times and many things The only hope that can well up Is of sunshine, not soon enough We hear thunder in the distance boom Coming closer very soon Lightning lights the countryside flashes that will soon subside Then once soaked the raining ceases we feel inside our joy increases with hopefulness of sunshine looming grasses now green and flowers blooming Our spirits now are fully raised rains now gone, sunshine praised The sun has the world now covered Maybe we can finally love each other.
