Hi Ho Sliver
When we retire to our charming boudoire Cathie just likes to read While I on the other hand prefer to sleep And dream of my kindly deeds So I don my mask to block out the light And I'm off to my fantasy land Helping poor souls in dire straits Those seniors whose life's hit the fan You see I'm known as the “Lone Re-Arranger” I help seniors rearrange their life Along with “Pronto” and faithful horse “Sliver” We help those struggling with strife If your mate's in the kitchen preparing dinner Using sharp and dangerous things Don't start singing, stay far far away She's distracted when she hears people sing Travel to another part of the house Stay as far away as you can Older people at times lose control They've been known to cut off their hands Here's what the “Lone Re-Arranger” suggests Be gentle with these elderly folks They really don't mean to cause you no harm Though the house may be filled with smoke Just then I wake up from my interesting sleep As Cathie turns out the light Sure happy that knife in my back wasn't real In my dreams I was rigid with fright! © Jack Ellison 2013
