Road Trip'N
I’m going on a road trip where I’ll be trip’n on the road; Every day adding new stories to the ones already told. No home as an anchor; no job to keep me hanging ‘round. So, I ‘m head’n down the highway, another destination to be found. I’ll do odd jobs for food; play my guitar for some cash; I’ll help you change your flat tire, if you buy me a little gas. I sleep in my back seat; brush my teeth in bathroom sinks; Shower in the truck stops – it’s not as bad as you might think. I travel all alone, but have made many friends along the way; I’ve even slept in a bed or two – I get horney, what can I say? I’ve been to many towns, but the one I like the best, Is the one in my rearview mirror as I move on to check the rest. You may say that I am homeless or a rebel without a cause; You may see my inability to settle down as another one of my character flaws; You may see me as a menace with no value in society, But if you were given half a chance – you’d probably come along with me.
