I Am a Man As I Should
Earth quake, Shattering dreams, Open to calamity it seems. The Lord saves us In our darkest hour, A washing white detour. A saving gown For a plight renown. A milky white pearl In the black skies. Open to hope Until you cross The finish line, You saved it for The last line When Jesus is to Meet with us in heaven, A merry treat. Dreams awake, My eyes do bake In the smoldering Heat I awake. A nightmare is over. Sorrow is rolled over. The milky white In my eyes Is rushed pure With no veins of sin. Here I stood With white rains In adulthood. Tears of joy, I am a man as I should. In my dream Hell was beneath me, I saw shackled sinners In assembly lines Chained together. They awaited their Torture, one by one. They would re-live Their past sins Who sinned to the Son. My abs shook But I was not taken In the red portal, In the floor, A warning I implore. Then Mary visited me I did see, She left her image On my shoulder. A surreal dream, It was always with me. I see clearly now That the dream is over, My sins are paid for On Jesus’s cross, I am pure now, I sow forever As I stood Jesus saved me With his blood, I am a man as I should.
