The Suffering
My heart is still mine I know this because it hurts so much... The past speaks to me take it from me It tugs at my spine I want to just run... I have always been good at walking away from love through rejection I have learned to reject... I wear my armor like a warrior I should suffer my hurt so silently... When love stabs you is it wrong to feel pain? How can she love me if she doesn't know what hurts me? Maybe this is love being vulnerable allowing someone in So far in they can hurt you but also give you everything... Maybe love is like a knife we cling to it grasp it until the blood flows Is this love? being crazy about someone no matter how much they hurt you? I am still here choosing to love not be a victim but a victor I choose to love let the flames begin...
