Bubba's Limousine
Bubba’s Limousine By Elton Camp Bubba made his living as a car thief But the latest one brought him grief For he saw a good chance one day Took it from the governor’s driveway The chauffeur had left the keys inside In a limousine, Bubba never had a ride It was the most elegant car he’d seen He grinned as he drove the fine machine Bubba messed up and he could tell it No buyer found when he tried to sell it A limousine is far too easy to identify And a vehicle title he couldn’t supply “They’re cowards, but I ain’t afeared. That’s the silliest thing I’ve heared.” Though in a house trailer he does reside, Bubba now has a limo parked alongside So when Bubba drives to the beer store, He gets a lot more respect than before And now he has room for all his clan He likes it a lot better than his old van
