The very best i seek, the most colourful to use in a new contest To write about .......... I don't know, my mind hasn't focussed Inspiration hasn't trickled down to the pen, it is still waiting, the ink dries within Slowly my thoughts are gathered time to set the quill on fire, gathering the multitude of words, filing them into recognizable verse. I write, i erase it and re-write the basket fills with destroyed copies, the train of thought carries on. Eyes now tightly shut time to relax the carriage door to my mind is closed, shutters are down All thoughts have been scribed, the entry to the contest is now ready. Penned August 2 2013
