Master of the Morning
MASTER OF THE MORNING Where were you when I created earth who decided on its size or came up with measurements and design? How were its foundations poured as morning stars sang in chorus as the sun was lifted high? Who took charge of Oceans vast and wide gushing forward like newborn babe wrapped in soft clouds tucked in safely? I made your sturdy playpen so no harm would come your way I made the place your stronghold in times of childish tantrums I ordered morning to arise— prompted the dawn to get to work Gently reminding –your understanding has limitations Control and human omniscience- no key to my creation Your role my child – is the capacity to depend and trust I am the Master of each new Morning--putting it in place I am the hand holding enormity & vastness--My creation I break into your hardship with the dawn of each new day “Have you ever given orders to the morning or shown each dawn its place” JOB 38:12
