Missing Piece
My tears are bitter and warm They carry so much weight but take no form The pain and anguish in my heart never growing old Every heart beat at a split of a second turning cold I seem to hear voices in my head in the presence of my silence, I look around for some answers just to see a bit of reminiscence, The minute I close my eyes I'm introduced to a different world, My heart thudding, it feels like its the end of the road. I call on you to hear me out, My words have eroded, this time no lie can bail me out, The future is bleak, the past is the only thing I have now, Only if time was tangible, I would turn the clock around. For every second that I have I reserve for good use, For every word through my tongue I speak nothing but the truth. I'm widowed to every moment I lost without you, My tears embracing every heartache I felt when I lost you, Now I'm standing alone wondering what to do to have you, The truth is hard to swallow when the fact states that I can't have you,
