Changing the Clock
Stuck inside a spiral that tornado takes me more, I'm caught inside a wind of lies that breeze consumes my shore. It must be my own doing, therefore I have most power, "God save my shores and open doors," I'm asking every hour. The winds continue fast bringing with a constant wave, my mother said I'm almost dead this life, I need to change. Friendships lost their bridges I became a hurtful troll, my motives rash for needing cash to pass; I took their toll. I was my own monster leading role in my nightmares, the bogeyman was just my head I ran from myself scared. I ran until I fell until my legs couldn't hold, I lived inside that wind of lies; that rain and wind was cold. Stuck inside a spiral twisted life that lost all form, can't find a place to keep my safe to escape this rainy storm. But storms don't last forever so there's no eternal trap, "just give me strength to raise this place and clean the aftermath."
