Night To Day 2
Creeps no light across this nights eclipse Like a dream bound from hopes design; But we see only darkness as we lay awake Separated by a windowpane; For we are trapped in a land of forgotten change Held in moonshines grace, But we shall ever fear our path of tread As the dark night passes by The moon did fade as daylight came with a burst of light anew, The morning takes a silent step to welcome the birth of day, Sweet bird sings loud its song of verse in the warmth of suns rebirth While the buds of an earthly bloom inspires all we see; Hold fast a beam of quiet light, bound to a lost design Though in the solitude that sunrise brings, we wait that time of change; For all is lost when dreams depart into the dawn again And are found intent under the leaf a rose inspires By M.Norton
