Tears Ressurected
Brooding clouds languished low, consoling the hills, as skies cast their tears onto brambles grown wild. By chance, one small encounter would shadow the mood. We found two age-old graves, buried deep under leaves. As skies cast their tears onto brambles grown wild, from a day blithe and buoyant, carefree and good, we found two age-old graves, buried deep under leaves, with names carved in granite in lone solitude. From a day blithe and buoyant, carefree and good I felt sudden anguish, arise from the past. The names carved in granite, in lone solitude resurrected despair, that was now ours, to bear I felt sudden anguish, arise from the past! Who could they be, this mother and child? Resurrected despair, that was now ours to bear! as skies cast their tears onto brambles grown wild. Who could they be, this mother and child? By chance one small encounter, would shadow the mood As skies cast their tears onto brambles, grown wild, brooding clouds languished low, consoling the hills ......... 5/18/13 __________________________________________________________
