Gravity of Change
In my dreams you once were there Side by side you and I both sat. Too many questions flooded my mind Yet nothing was more important Than seeing your smile once more. Can you see what we have become? I wanted to know you still care; Wanted to believe you still remember. Those moments that we once shared, Times when we talked and laughed. Have you forgotten who I'am? Can you still recall who you were? When you look down from heaven Are we the one's you search for? Are we still what you remembered; Or did we changed like everything else. I sat there thinking about all of those; And he just looked at me and smiled. He stood like someone I don't know. He was my father but he was not. Change draws everything towards it Like gravity pulls all at it's center. No one can escape, but one can choose. Who you are is all up to your choice. That was all he said as he stood. He touched my face with his palm, Then he was gone like he never was. Once again I was left with nothing. So much I wanted to say to him, So many questions I should've asked; And yet I spoke not a single word, But he knew and answered everything.
