Sometimes
Sometimes I want to give up, and just lay here and die. Sometimes the pain is just too much ,and I brake down and cry . Sometimes I fall to my knees, and look up to the sky. Sometimes I beg God, 'Please tell me why!' Sometimes I wonder if I'll make it through the rain. Sometimes I don't think its worth all the struggle and pain. Sometimes I think I've just gone insane! Sometimes I can't help but use the Lord's name in vain. Sometimes I lose faith, and everything gets cold. Sometimes the weight on my shoulders gets so hard to hold! Sometimes this life of drama gets so old. Sometimes I don't think I can carry this load. But then I open the paper, or look at the news; and I realize that everyone pays their dues. Theres pain all over the world, way worse than mine! People overcome amazing obstacles, it just takes time. I have to keep faith, that theres light at the end of the tunnel. The reward is relief, that comes after the struggle. So I pick up my head and I thank God above, and I know He smiles down on me, and says,"My child, pain is love!" So whenever I get down, I'll read over these rhymes, and I'll remember that I only feel this way.........SOMETIMES!!!
