I Need Some New Love Tires
I keep driving around And am bound To encounter some flats From some cheating Jeremy's, Brad's and Matt's I really liked this guy But all he ever did was make me cry He refused to love me When his love was all I could see I wanted him to be true And he would always make me blue And the things he would do Would show me he had someone new He wouldn't treat me the same And to jealousy I was in pain It would bore into my heart All because I was way too smart The lies he would say Wouldn't make the truth go away As weird as it is to say I'd find myself loving him another day My heart's love couldn't be sent away Even though, to the fool I'd often play And one day the pain would bear fruit and I would pay One day it will all become too much And his love wouldn't be my crutch I'd fall off that altar of love And all the foolish fantasies from above I'd look myself dead in the eye And decide I need to find a new guy And the cycle would begin once more... With some new love, that I feel I adore Maybe I will tell him that I love him more Than the one before But in the end... It does not matter who I befriend The pain is all the same A different guy But the same old lie... Maybe my heart needs a few tires It has blown a flat from all of these liars Maybe if I get a new set I'll be able to go a few more miles, I'll bet A few more guys A few more tries But hopefully not so many liars That consume my heart by cheating fires!
