Holding my pillow close to my face, trying to hold back the night. Night after night the same dreams would surface and sleep was not to be mine. The older I got the more the dreams came to me, sometimes even in the day I could close my eyes and remember the nights terror. I felt lost and broken,I gave in to the devil and let him win. I fought and I struggled for most of my life, sleeping for me was no delight. I looked deep inside myself to see what it could be, I found I was really only afraid of being me. Dreams of silence and peace rule over me, and now my pillow is used for restfully sleeps. Stand up to what is down deep in you, and you will find your inner peace. My night my sleep my peace.
