Where Is God
We say a prayer for the wild hearts kept in cages But can they hear us? Will he break the cages? Will he make them be the real them? He will let us lose the battle But will he let us win the war? He starts a conflict To create peace But where is he when we need him most? Where is god now? Our friends and family die We watch people we don't know die for our country Here's to loving life But where is he when you hate your life? Where is god now? He is the emotions that you feel He is the words that you speak But where is he when you are emotionless, speechless He is in every tear you cry He is in everyone who dies But where is god now? Open heavens gates i ask Saint Peter I give you just one last task Open the gates and see god, I will I see him and all is still He says he is in us too Where is god? you ask Well, my dear friend, he is in both me and in you.
