Maybe I'M Amazed
Today is a new day to cherrish those you love by words you say, And in this mornings hour, My heart has become unfolded like a blossoming flower, Oh- And I say that maybe I'm Amazed. Just watching the way you move, in the sunlight, Under the covers while holding me so tight, Making me feel just so right in this moment, Oh- and I say again maybe I am amazed, Each and every day when you hold my hand, And we bow our heads in prayer at the dinner table, It's so easy to forget the loving words I want to say, When you steal my breath and heart beat away, Just in the things that you do, Oh- Honey maybe just maybe I am amazed by you. And at night when I hear you softly praying, Whispering to God those words I secretly say, It's almost like you can read my mind, and lately I find that maybe I'm amazed like you.
