St. Silence, The Shadow Despise his voice His face is wrong, For he is not your golden son... He feels as cold as the light that lacks the day... And he cannot hear: "this will go away." The bruise on his eyes, the hurt in his lungs, Brings dreams of clear rivers made red by guns. Just to breathe... Just to sleep in peace tonight. For when he comes home his choices are bleed or fight... And he never speaks of this again. He found a way to break from him.. Mercy, he chose to blow apart. He had no choice now his mind is dark... So hold your prayers, he does not wish to feel alright... He does not care Because now he sleeps at night... He hears no more screams when the sun goes down! He sleeps through the night with silence as sound! That reminds him that at least he broke away.. The light may be right, but it was shadow that saved the day!
