The Perfect Woman
The Perfect Woman She’d be fair to look upon, at your discretion of course Grace would be her crowning glory, along with a tender heart Kindness would rule her deeds when meeting others needs Gentleness would rule her tongue, even when miss-pleased She’d rule her domain with cleanliness, an attribute shared in deed Temperance I’d think a must, along with the ability to trust She’d be partner, not slave, surely a two-sided attribute worn You’d hope of course she’d be a good cook, aprons worn by two Anger would be short to rise; even yours should abide this rule A companion, a lover, a friend, who’s sharing wouldn’t smother She’d be the one, you’d be most proud, to present to your father and mother By: Debra Squyres 2/10/13 For: The Perfect Woman members contest
