Hobo Joe
He walks the streets alone. No friends no family no place to call home. This is the man they call Joe. He walks from corner to corner. Asking those who pass for a quarter. This is the man they call Joe. When people walk past they turn their heads and laugh. But what they don’t is he is sad because he wishes for what they have. This is the man they call Joe. He lives in a box without a roof. He has holes in the bottom of his shoes. This is the man they call Joe. He spent most of his life lonely and alone. The people who laugh don’t what it’s like without a home. This is the man they call Joe. He used to walk the street. Looking for something to eat. But nobody noticed he no longer walks the streets. This was the story of the man they once called Joe.
