Angels Cried
Spiritual beings taking flight A soul left void, without hope Darkness devours internal light Sliding to hell on a slippery slope Plans are made for annihilation Fear becoming a permanent guest Walking a path toward extermination Left alone, on this unholy quest Angels, turned away and cried As the child’s spirit slowly died Trembling hands caress the knife To the sadist, I'm tightly entwined A single path, will end my strife As latent memories haunt my mind Every night, reliving my anguish Haunting laughter, piercing screams Monster, that can never be vanquished Residing permanently in my dreams Angels, turned away and cried As the child’s spirit slowly died Slowly my knife crosses each wrist Eyes growing heavy, heart slowing Finally I'll be free of my antagonist The blood eventually quits flowing Familiar hands, tying familiar knots Rough hands branding my young skin Killing myself such a foolish thought In the clutches of the sadist once agin The Angels, turned away and cried Knowing my eternal fate, when I died
