Grandma Got Run Over
Grandma Got Run Over You all know the song but do you know the true story behind the song? Grandma got run over by my Grandpa But he blamed it all on Santa Claus I asked why he would ever lie to Grandma He just looked at me and then he said “because Grandma won’t remember just what hit her She’ll believe ‘bout anything we say So rather than her doghouse for a life time We’ll say it was eight reindeer and a sleigh We’ll even write a little song about it She’ll be proud to be a part of history So when she wakes up you be sure to tell her It was reindeer and don’t ever mention me” So there you have the truth behind the story About the time that Grandma got run down She looks at me and Grandpa when she hears it Grandpa smiles but he and I still hold our ground Mdailey
