Three Frogs
Jerk-Jerk, Double-The –Dose, and Quinine too, Are three frogs that all like to go fishing. They were away from the pond they live on, So they all were just hoping and wishing. They wanted to go back to their Lilly pads And grab their rods and reel. The journey home was hot and long The longing, they continued to feel. The three frogs embarked on their journey home, They would get there soon enough. When they made it home, they sure were glad, They went fishing after they got their stuff. The first one to catch a fish, was Double-The-Dose, Jerk-Jerk soon followed behind. But the other frog had no fishes, Not one, poor poor Quinine. The others thought it was funny, They had one fish apiece, They had out fished little Quinine, Their laughter just would not cease! Quinine just sat there, and ignored their mocking When his pole began to move. His fish was bigger that the two put together, Now what did their laughter prove?
