The Robe
THE ROBE i sat down by the city gate to watch the people passing by it must have been about midday judging by the sun up in the sky then out of nowhere darkness fell what happened to the sun then came thunder, lightning an hail and the crowd began to run i have never seen a storm so fierce as the one i saw this day so i stopped a roman soldier to find out what he would say he said that up there on the hill 3 men were crucified the storm rolled in the very moment the one called christ had died he said that he now believed christ was the son of god coming from a roman soldier this statment seemed so odd as he said these strange words to me there were teers in his eyes it was the first time i've ever seen a roman soldier cry he took the robe that he was carrying and gave the robe to me he said the robe belonged to christ please treat it properly of the heavy rain that fell on me fallen from the sky this robe of christ in my arms still some how felt so dry i could fill all this power now flowing through this robe i know that its not mine to keep i must find its proper home you need not even meet this man to truely believe he was christ our lord, king of kings this man from galalee
