It belongs to every living thing It had one time in Trinidad And I can remember it still The sun was out down the street And rain was falling up the hill I remember seeing a Hindi movie Where they were dancing in the rain And every time I see the rain That beautiful image comes to my brain Some many have fall in love Under the falling rain While many have depend on it To wash away their pain We have to be thankful For what we have in our life’s For what we take for granted Some fight for with gun and knifes We have dish washer, car wash We like to take a long shower While some died of thirst Every second of every hour Some times we are selfish And for simple things we complain And for silly reasons Like getting caught in the rain
