Well Worth the Wait
At the end of the winding weary road, theres a place reserved for me to lay lifes load. Burdens are lifted from me with love and care, and of my many troubles I become unaware. I see for the first time the way its supposed to be, and stand in humble awe of all i see. All my tears were saved in a bottle filled with light, and washed my robe til it was glowing white. I saw a mansion with my name on the door, where inside all my hopes and dreams were stored. I saw many I loved, here long before me, all Smiling and clapping as if expecting me. A man stepped forward, his face full of love, when I saw him I knew instantly who he was. I fell on my knees before him on this golden street, and I praised him greatly as i kissed his feet. My lifes just a flicker in this everlasting flame, now I know it was worth it to walk in his name.
