Challenged Sobriety
What nameless grievance I perceive That does me wholly so deceive Sitting squarely on rounded shoulders Stiff with tension, hard as boulders Diminished foresight, less appreciation Searching for my own salvation Perpetual thoughts, thus increasing Revolving spirals so unceasing Pelting my resistance with anxiety Challenging intentional, my sobriety That which so intrigues my will Intentional desires I must fulfill That veiled circumference  I portray When it is myself, I do betray That sentinel has run amok Causing me to come unstuck It has been rumored, so they say That I have come a long, long way Shining through with metallic glow Putting on a radiant show From aerial heights looking down Watching for me to sink and drown Steeling myself for all its worth For that promise of my rebirth
