I Wake Up Each Morning
I wake up each morning to see that your still there Through my eyes of life all I can do is simply stare All I can do is think at the way you've treated me Deceit cunning you and your money spending sprees What happened to trust as the cash registers rung No feelings about me as my stress has now begun Months now progress as my illness steadily grows No feeling in my soul as I see my life below Why could you do this, what have I ever done to you If it wasn't for our children, if strength I'd run you through I wake up each morning to see that your still there Through my eyes of life all I can do is simply stare Turning round we touch, spooned like the night before This feeling of new found love internally lets me soar Barely we have met, but it's what you do to me For the first time in my life, I'm carving names on a tree The enjoyment that we share in carnal lustful bursts Our bodies in thrusting writhe, tonguing lusting thirsts Over the weeks we share, the natural things in life For I know in my heart, as I ask, will you be my wife
