In church people were singing and praying Among the congregation, some were speaking in tongues Suddenly! i heard someone screamed and ran to the alter I was surprised to see that it was the lady that was brought on wheelchair Jumping and dancing she grabbed the Microfone And with tears running down her face she said Truly, the Lord answers prayer. At the hospital, in the intensive care unit Lying in coma three days after the terrible accident The doctors said nothing else could be done but just to hope and pray So we called on the Lord to take control of the situation The following day as we entered he was staring directly at us And with a smile on his face he said Truly, the Lord answers prayer. At junior high, we were playing behind the classroom Then all of a sudden, we heard a loud noise And before we knew it the entire wall of the building collapsed Over thirty kids buried in the rubble only one didn't make it Though it could have been worse but our innocent prayers that morning was answered When i reflect on these and many more it makes me realize That truly, the Lord answers prayer.
