I relish the beauty in the present Moment that promises the holiness Of life now and in the moment of finality The future is not tomorrow Today is all I have. My heart craves for satisfaction, Of the parching thirst desert like A light in the tunnel of my life’s travels To meet with the dream of my creation Today is all I have. The elder’s coals are in embers The desert nights are snowy Desire to warm myself With the fire from those ahead of us I shall arise and drive forward. With embers gone comes new fire New wine in new wine skins We birth a new source, new warmth Aiding us to start new journeys Meet with pilgrims from afar Today is all I have.
