Disappearing Dreams
Ten O'clock, ten years ago, the world didn't seem as strange. Today, the dreams I had back then are completely out of range. I woke up in the middle and I didn't know my name. It seems the map got faded and the rules changed to the game. The things I lost along the way, I cannot understand. Like sand, they seemed to slip right through the fingers on my hand. The things I saw that gave me hope have seemed to fade away. Forcing me to change my course and find another way. When clouds begin to fade away and show a clear blue sky. And your pockets are still empty, you have to wonder why. Is this all that there is for some, is it as hopeless as it seems? Do we just wake in a foggy mist of disappearing dreams? What can I say from this point on to reconcile this fate. Before the winds of change blow in and my answer comes to late. The world just keeps revolving and recycling all it's dust. As we are left to live within a dream we just can't trust.
