Goodbye Hope
She was born to us years ago, And they named her Hope As she floated into the earth, she was beautiful. Hope is lovely, soft, caring, never crying she looks at every one with love, she is one of a kind. She brings peace to those she is with, Calming them with her smile, warming there heart with hers. She is hope. She grows up now, living, and teaching, and bringing light to everything she looks at. She is beautiful. She is wonderful. She will capture your love. She is everything. Hope blesses animals. She blesses plants. And she blesses people, with all her gifts she brought to us. She loves criminals more that herself. She loves earth more than herself. She wont harm a fly. Ever. Hope is gentler than everything. She is what we should be. She is our role model. She is our Hope. But she is sick now. Getting worse every day. Never stopping her love though. She is so beautiful. As I cradle her head in my arms. She looks at me and smiles. “hope is a strong thing” she says, then she's gone. I kiss her and tell her goodbye. Then get up and leave. And as I leave, her wind kisses my cheek goodbye. Hope was born into my hands, now she has died in my arms. I whisper goodbye to her once more, then cry myself to sleep. Hope will never truly leave us. For know one forgets the gifts they get. And Hope was our gift. We must not forget that.
