Affair 1
She would meet him along the ocean's edge Each evening as the sun faded into night In her heart it seemed no wrong, so right she was fighting her own personal war. In his arms time did stop Reality hidden inside fanciful dreams It was his image that haunted her dreams But for the life of her she could not stop. She tried to tell herself that it was wrong Wrong to love this man that captured her heart It was a struggle between conscience and love But within she knew there was no future for them. She knew she had no right to want this so bad She was another man's wife instead Regret and longing lay heavily on her breast Yet, she waited for each evening to arrive. As the crystaline tears ran down her face She knew this love affair had to stop But how ,when I had been yours from the moment we meet Now each dream has to be like an endless summer's night.
