Gone Is the Past
Rainbows and roses, discouragement ,strife. It's all a part of walking with Christ. Good times and bad times smiles of frowns, God is right there He won't let you down. Loving and caring through wrong and through right Jesus walks with you bright day or dark night He holds your hand as you journey along Through vally so deep and turbulance strong. On mountain top high when you're filled with glee In barren dry places, rejected , decieved. He is right there He'll always remain. He'll comfort you through sorrow and pain. When everything perfect and life's full of song, When you pull away His love remains strong. He will keep wooing and drawing you back And His Spirit within withstands Satans attack. Give Him your life, surrender your heart, He'll mend all the breaks and never depart. If you are His, His love will last. Look to the future, Gone is the past.
