The Grave Could Not Hold Him
Christ died on Mount Calvary at age thirty three, to pay our sin debt so we could be free. Bloody and beaten He walked to His death. On a cross at Golgatha He took His last breath. His body was placed in a tomb, not His own, and they sealed it shut with a large heavy stone. The day after Sabbath they went to the tomb, but the Lord was not there, just a large empty room. The Angels had come and the stone rolled away. 'Twas a glorious first Resurrection Day. The grave could not hold Him, praise God for that day. the grave could not hold Him and sin washed away. Yes the stone was rolled back, Christ came forth from the grave And He lives, He's alive and our debt has bee paid!
