Test of Solitude
We wanted to prove that he was not a victim We placed him alone under the days conviction We told him god wouldn't fall him to despair So why is is he still lying there? We wanted to show he was more than he seems Even alone, contridicting his dreams His eyes are closed and they look like they are in pain He's fallen victim to this game we play. We wanted to see what this would really do For when his eyes are wide, and he's talking to you. For the days he's alone, his friends were never so true His kindess their gain, his weakness was too. You can see the smile that doesn't have any mean Full of lies and everything in between. And for someone so nice, you can only think This isnt right, to the slightest degree. The test he has passed, one which we pray he would fail Justifying the past, of why he would only stop and stare. It was a cry for help, one we put to the test So in times like this we wish we could forget. Test Of Solitude: Unfortunate success.
