Moon
the moon can be a bit of a fright, i was driving through the blackest night, drunk as 40 cats until, i came over a moonie highway hill, a golden ball as large as a house, me hair stood up, sober as a mouse, scared sober, adrenalines spouse, a crazy grin instilled, nother hundred miles i chilled. guess the great "white light" was out, i saw it later stilll.... (nother ole poem in me bag of tricks ) thanks p.d. little mate, Don Johnson "1974 Mystery Light" poem happened in the same 200 mile length of Moonie highway, between Dalby and Stgeorge South West Qld..... well p.d. this old one "1974 Mystery Light" really happened in the same area...both are true stories...did a regression on 1974 verse, saucer crossed the road, wife stealing cousin Wayne was transfixed by a beam of light, he was wearing bright blue shorts, and the gold curl in his red hair i saw in the brightly lit memory regressed...
