Milk
Milk spills onto the innocent fabric Silver linens and threads of purple As it flows, the shimmer turns gray and the edges are laced in red. I guess that's how things go Some things spill, some we'll never know So what if all is ruined tell me something new To have everything destroyed is something I already knew The liquid is easily washed It's simply rinsed out Watch it dry all is erased It's easily rinsed Everything is normal now Until the next mistake I guess that's how some things go Some wash out, others show Nothing is infinitely ruined Just wash it away Nothing ever happened. Or save it for another day Nothing is better than denial Wipe it all away It will disappear in a little while The milk spills and yet you do nothing Deny the truth. Deny the existance It stains and it shows but you look the other way Watch purity turn gray and innocence bleed at the edges
