Fairy Tale Endings
I once dreamt upon a star, believing fairy tales do come true. I believed if I worked truly and very hard, I would eventually find my due. But some how life got in the way, and I began to wonder what I’d do. I decided if my fairy tales were lost, I’d help those of others, come true... To secretly give a helping hand to a few of them in need. To finally, if only partially, help them find their way, like me. When I questioned what was in a fairy tale to make it what it was. I discovered the purpose of these tales, was to simply find happiness. Some how I realized that my parents had done the very same for me… They are the reason I’m here now… helping with others dreams. Of course my son needs college… and another young man a home. And a homeless lady for a while was given a moment to try to grow. Rescued animals became pets, with a roof, love, and food. And though I was left with little… I was proud of what I do. When very young I briefly met God, and he sent me back with more to do. He said I would continue on, and some day I would eventually bloom. Confused and lost, and not truly knowing just what he meant, that day… I now believe my place is as a catalyst, to help others, in some small way. It’s amazing what love, God, and a little fairy tale can do to help each day. And the fairy tale was never lost; it just changed, along the way.
