I'M Losing You
I try to say all the things I meant to say. Sometimes it seems words get in my way. I look for the answers, desire which are true. I watch it drift by as see I’m losing you. I get up and start this day with a clean slate. The questions and answers don’t seem to equate. I see what I know yet have so much to learn. I want to put out the fire yet bridges still burn. I was hoping it could have been better today. I know I didn’t mean all the things that I say. I wish I took the time to just figure it out. It leaves me standing in the shadows of doubt. I was hoping perhaps I would do much better. I was going to sit down and write you a letter. The words would not come so what shall I do? Only to realize that I am still losing you. I was hoping you’d stay and just not go. The winds of change continue to blow. I look all around to see what’s left, I feel I was robbed there wasn’t a theft. I resign to the fact I don’t get everything right. What I saw in darkness is revealed in the light. The sun does return to a sky that’s so blue. I feel this sorrow because I’m losing you…
