Where the Ruins Make the Willows Weep
sitting together on that remarkable hill in the blazing sun light with the bees buzzing in the circle of trees we come back to this place for a reason sharing the notion that we know exactly what this is and yet have only this action as a way of expressing the very in-expressible that this is still thinking the entire time that we will hold on to this moment forever in a reflective dance I take you here and you bring me there, our place the place you can't imagine and yet always known knowing exactly where to go we go through the gate and into the garden while the bench and the pond are asleep someone bold or weeping drag their hair across the earth and we into the circle of trees go where the ruins make the willows weep and the leaves collect our souls.
