Pay Attention
When a new day does start, My pen to the paper listens, with a poets heart. Hey you reading this lend me your eyes and ears. Don't be foolish the emptiness you feel is only fear. Why is it that I don't pay attention to what's right in front of me. So stubborn to admit that somethings in life I cannot see. I use to see the signs and red flags but I ignored them all the time. Thinking that I can handle the situations on my own, I was that blind! But I knew what would will happen if I continued on that path, Soon I knew that my decisions would be my own demise, and I wouldn't last. Sometimes it's impossible to understand this life. We must stop and pay attention to the little things, not the strife. Heavenly Father I admit that you tried to teach me, Until it seemed pointless. Repeatdly you tried to teach me ; But I would not listen. You tried to tell me, But I wouldn't pay attention.
