I Am
I am someone ...no one really knows I often wonder ...if they think they do I hear the snowflakes ...fall lazily to the ground I see life through them I am full of envy ...because mine is gone I want my life back ...the way it used to be Once full of love, happiness, ...and dreams Instead of pain, chaos, ...and shattered dreams I am someone ...no one really knows I often wonder ...if they think they do I pretend to be happy ...fake smiles on my face Inside I am bitter ...I touch emptiness everyday I worry that I will ...never feel whole again Never feel anything ...except the constant pain I cry into the darkness with no one to wipe ...the tears away I am someone that ...no one really knows I often wonder how many ...believe they do I understand nothing now ...although I really try My dreams have been lost ...stolen from me I try to pretend ...that I am okay Fake smile on my face ...to cover the pain I hope someday ...my story is told Well after my death ...nothing but bones to hold I wonder if they will realize ...the mistakes they have made If they will even stop and think ...or close their eyes and walk away I am someone that ...no one really knows Someday I will be no one Maybe then, someone will actually know me ...and perhaps...love me
