Reunion
As kids, in our younger years of kindergarten through the first few grades, we were friends. We held hands on the bus, we laughed at the same silly jokes, while swinging on the swings in play. Together. As we grew older our various activities, and changes in friends caused us to drift apart, no longer holding hands, or even speaking. Life comes along and we go down the path we think best or the actions of our past dictate. That's Life. As middle age rages near, we realize that very few things matter. Just people. We wonder how all the years fell down, without us speaking, or laughing. Then, through the craziness of life we remember that we've always been friends. Just forgotten. As we move into our later years, who knows what will come or where we will be. But, we will remember the childhood friends. Going back in time in our minds, we will see a face or remember a name. Laughing at a shared memory of adventure. Friends, and that's all that matters.
