Where are they going? I thought. Then he left the group and went astray, By himself, I thought was odd, As ants are always in groups of many. I noticed he had found a small leaf, Crawled around it, as if a prize. Also near, a small puddle, And some brilliant, emerald green moss. He then stopped, and seemed to sit, Much like me, on this summer’s day. I then looked over, where he came from, The train of ants had disappeared. Perhaps they went off, to fight a battle, And this one ant, felt it’s not right, So he found his sanctuary, … Just like me.
