Kellie and Mike
I read a sad story today there seems to be more and more of them I wasn’t sure how to take this one though all because I knew him Would they just become another statistic? Would anyone even cry? These are questions I’m not to sure of, he wasn’t a very nice guy The paper says he had to have been drinking to have done a thing like this I knew him for such a long time, he called me his little sis So I knew what he was capable of he didn’t need to drink Drugs were his poison and on them he didn’t think He walked into a daycare where he knew his ex would be Told her if you know what’s best then you will come with me Thinking things would be ok she left her place of work All because she didn’t want them to see him act like a jerk In the car they were riding for such a very long ways So far out in the country they didn’t find their bodies for days He had always told her if you ever leave me you will pay Now we know he meant it as we read the paper today Beside them was a picture of their little boy Mark Was this the last thing she saw before her world went dark? Did she beg him for her life and show him the picture of their son? Telling him that she would come back hoping the nightmare would be done These and other questions will never get answered for us now We wonder could we have stopped him but none of us know how Kellie lost her life yesterday and Mike took his life as well All for trying to get away from a man that caused her hell I can not seem to cry for Mike but for Kellie I have cried and cried I read a sad story today in this one my best friend died.
