My Work
In the dusk of one fine morning I awoke within my dream To some gentle voices whispering 'bout a place I've never seen Beckoning me to come and join them, I could do nothing but agree And with that thought upon my mind, In no time it came to be Bathed throughout with warm emotion, All was bound, nothing separate All-That-Is was part of me, And I, in turn, a part of it We listened to the sunshine, Heard the sounds of goldenness Brightly amber sound waves resound In the vastness Reverberation of a feeling, Caressing all along it's way The wordless realization Of all the thoughts you cannot say Flowing colors of the spectrum Soothe each niche of consciousness Every ray with it's own meaning, Absorbing all and nothing less Now I lay here on my bed, Tears flowing from my eyes Wishing I was back, At my home within the sky But my sadness drifts away, The tears on my cheeks are gone For I know I will return, When my work here has been done.
