Someone Else
I came here to be with the girl I love, Instead, I get someone I do not know. This person I sit with here today, Is someone else I've never met; Who comes from God knows where, And comes to strip me of everything. Everything I hold close and dear. Including the girl I love so much. My girlfriend and I would always show our love, But this person I do not know makes no advance. So as I try to find out who this person is, My love slowly slips away into the abyss. As I try to bring her back and show her my love, She just slips away deeper and deeper; Till all I can see is someone else, Who looks like the girl I fell in love with. This person who I do not know, Slowly dominates my love and life; As my love slowly vanishes, From the arms that love her dear. I made a promise to my love I'll never break; I promised I would never stop loving her. I'll always love her till the end of time, Even if I'm loving someone I don't know.
