I Stand In Line
I think of the world so much larger than I. Yet once in a while I get to touch the sky. I don’t have the answers yet maybe a clue. I know what shall be is all up to you… I awake from this sleep but realize the dream. Though many things in life are not as they seem. The love that you send shall be what you get. I can see the top but I’m not quite there yet. I realize that dreams can certain come true. Like the sun always shines when the sky is blue. I see before me all of these possibilities, All that I did was open my eyes to see. I hope and I pray for just another day, Where someone can relate to words that I say. I’m not always certain if I know how, But I feel like this is the time right now. I watch as things pass by and then slowly fade, I feel some remorse in decisions I’ve made. I have no regrets for the price that I’ve paid I just wish in my heart a little more could have stayed. The pieces of the puzzle lie scattered across the floor. As I get to take a peek of what the future has in store. I may not have it all but there is still time. So I take my place and stand in line…
